My 22re has been losing water, i just changed the headgasket recently and it doesn't look like there a coolant leak anywhere. Do you think it would be because the head was not torqued down correctly? i think i didn't cleaned out holes out oh head bolts all the way. there was still some oil left.

Hard to say. Some options are to get the cooling system pressure tested to see if there is a leak someplace or if it is being pressurized by the engine running.
