Need a Spot
I am looking for info on converting a votrec 4.3L to carb and non-computer distributor. Its going in a swamp buggy with a TH350/NP205 combo. I thought I read somewhere an HEI unit can be used from a chevy V-8 by using a 6cyl. HEI cap and rotor. Is this right? Any info would be great before I start buying parts. Also any year vortec 4.3l better than the other for this conversion? Thanks.

I'm not sure but I think there is also an internal part to replace with the cap. It'd be the pole piece (I think), make sure you get a new pickup coil.
