I have a set of spare doors, and spare fenders are well under $30 per side. The old doors are destined to become half-doors, anyway.
As for the doors opening and closing, that was a high priority when I got back to the campground ... I hate that sqeaking bend/crunch, and thanks to Tammy's 3-pound drilling sledge, I was able to restore silent alignment to the panels.
Dunno how much time I'll spend on the rear quarter, but I'll definitely give it some love. Uzi will never win concours honors, but I do take some pride in it...
Randii WORD...I dunno if I'll ever fix my " flop scars"(where did I hear that body damage is cool ?... ), but I do plan on fixing the "other" damage on the passenger side. Already have a new (from Isuzu) door shell, & the rest should "pull-n-bondo" without too much problem. Nothin' wrong with havin' a little pride in your ride!

I'm a little late joining this conversation, but after all the problems that you have had with your rig not being seen in Moab, isn't Camo a bit counter-productive?

I guess my first choice is the blue because I think it won't be as hard to paint well (the yellow won't be forgiving on the paint job and you'll have more prep work) oh, for anyone who would like to see a picture of UZI *upright* in Moab this year, here's a pic from our first day out before the day got too hot and long to stop for pix. ![[Linked Image]](http://www.kcbphoto.com/images/UZI2007-PSM.jpg) Kammy

I have 3-4 trips up to Rubicon with the Amigo so far... no huge failures, but I am still shaking out smaller bugs (most can be repaired trailside) and eliminating leaks. I finally broke down and upgraded to Longfields shortly after I resealed the front end. The peace of mind is phenomenal, but the abcess in my wallet has yet to heal. A link with a few pictures: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=608100I'm happy to see the Amigo in the lead of a bunch of Jeeps, but if you scroll all the way down, you'll also see an oddly familiar front-end drain plug repair.
