Recently rebuilt my carb, adjusted mixture and warm idle and the truck always starts great from a cold start and runs excellent when warm. (I live in S Florida, so cold never really happens). It will also start fine and run perfect after being shut off, but engine still moderately warm. But if I let it sit for several hours, I cannot get it to idle until the temp gauge gets warm again. I have read Scerb's FAQ, and I checked my choke, it is mostly open, not quite vertical but close. Something in that warm to not quite warm transition is killing me. The choke seems to be operating as designed, mostly closed when cold, vertical when hot. Also, I can get it to go to cold idle if I crack the throttle and close the choke plate with my finger.
