Getting the Wheeling Fever
Anyone know the part # for the clips that hold the headlamp washer nozzles in place?
I believe these would go on behind the header panel, but never seen an exploded view of it to know for sure.

Mine work, but they flop around a bit.

Is this for a Gen I, II, or III? Montero or Montero Sport?

Please put your model info into your signature & use it for these kinds of questions... It's too tough to remember everyone's rig from prior questions and it will make everyone's life (including yours) easier.

OK, if nobody comes up with something, I can provide the CAPS p/n's for you when I get home later this evening. You can probably order them from the dealer or get the parts from a salvage yard or perhaps someone here has a spare setup they can send you.

If you don't find that part or your willing to try an alternate way of attaching those headlight washers I'll show how I attached mine.

I dug around in the garage and found a piece of hard rubber hose that has an inner diameter close to the headlight washer. I then cut a piece off about 1/4" in width. I then cut that piece lengthwise and ended up with this:

I dabbed the inside with a little RTV or silicon adhesive and stuck it on.

It's not pretty, but a it's cheap and easy way to keep the headlight washers from flopping around. I did mine about a month ago and they are holding up...and if they ever do fall off it's a 3min repair job.

one of my clips fell off so i just put some JB weld on the back of one, put the clip on it(to act as a clamp). After about an hour I took the clip off and put it back on the other one. Worked great!
