Getting the Wheeling Fever
I installed Calmini 2" shackles on my Trooper for more lift in the rear, but this might also be an option:

The article is for a Landcruiser, but I guess you could do the same thing on an Isuzu with rear leaf...

Body Damage is Cool
You can have any spring pack re-arched. You are still limited by the compression of the spring and how far the travel is for your shackles.

One of the things I didn'tlike about the stock leafs (leaves?)was the thick overload spring. I seemed too stiff if you were loaded up and hit it.

I had a custom set of leafs made that gave me the lift I wanted (with stock shackles) and the load capacity that I wanted. The company (National Spring) wanted a stock set of springs to figure out what to make for me. The whole process only took a couple of weeks including shipping to them and back to me.

I also had them do a military wrap on them.

The other thing about this approach is we are not limited by how high we can go in the rear. The IFS stops going up way before the back end runs out of options.

Re-arched springs also have a tendency to fall back towards their original configuration. In the link above, the individual replaced both main springs AND added add-a-leafs. Not quite representative of a simple re-arch.

He also quoted $3K for replacement packs (incl labor, which is against his original stance of "low cost"). $3K is a little excessive for spring packs. A quick look showed about $300/end for spring packs. And I would assume the same "parts" (bushings, u-bolts, shackles, shocks, ect) would be needed for either re-arching or OME Springs and either manner would give a comparable lift. In the end, I wonder how much ahead this guy really was.
