The previous owner used vice grips on the fittings so that was fun. He also managed to yank the tube into the filter out of the plastic clip on the frame and never put it back into the vertical clip close to the input. Without being clipped in I was able to swing that tube around like it was hooked to a rubber hose going into the tank. It's flex on my truck. I'm going to have to look at it again soon, because I lost tank vacuum. It's flex on my truck. I'm going to have to look at it again soon, because I lost tank vacuum. Let us know what you find. I have trouble with losing the vacuum on my tank too- sometimes. I think this is common.
