whats doin im fairly new to the whole off roading thing and ever since i got my 99WJ ive always wanted to get a lift. i was looking more towards a body lift cause of the cheaper price im only 19 dont have alot of money to be throwing around.. i just wanted to see if anyone could reccomend anything for me i would appreciate it. i'd also plan on getting bigger tires but thats the next question..

there arent that many lifts for the WJ, i know because i thought about lifting mine at one point. they have some spacer lifts with shocks that are fairly cheap and if you search enough you can find bigger lifts but they are pretty expensive. it all depends on what size of tire you want to go for

A body lift is not possible on a Grand Cherokee, due to the fact that is a unibody-constructed vehicle. A body-lift actually places spacers between the frame and body of a vehicle at the body mount points. On Cherokees and Grand Cherokees, the body and frame are one unit, welded together.
If you want an inexpensive suspension lift, you can install 2" spring spacers that go on top of the coil springs, commonly referred to here as a "budget-boost" (BB). Teraflex makes a nice kit. That should let you bump up to a slightly larger tire size.
