Body Damage is Cool
Hello all,

It's that time again. We will be having our ninth annual gathering of Isuzu Enthusiasts in Colorado this year, coming in August.

WHAT: Colorado 'Zu IX
WHEN: August 9-12, 2007
WHERE: Buena Vista, CO @ KOA Kampground
WHO: Isuzu Enthusiasts and friends (regardless of make)

Mark your calendars and plan to join us for an extended weekend of trails within the Buena Vista area.
The trails range from mild to wild, and a good time is certain to be had by all.
For those of you with families that aren't into riding the trails, Buena Vista area has a lot to offer in other activities.

Some examples of trails:
Mosquito Pass
Tincup Pass
Hancock/Tomichi Pass
Mt Princeton
Iron Chest
Grizzly Lake
Chinaman Gulch
Carnage Canyon
Holy Cross City
KOA Kanyon
and many more trails can be travelled within the area.

Buena Vista Information

Please shoot us an email or reply so we can know how many group sites to plan for, and numbers to expect.
I do believe we are working to get up an informational web page published, and I will edit this post once that occurs.

My email:
locomigo@comcast.net

Feel free to reply, or email with any questions and I will do my best to answer and/or find an answer for you.

Take care and see you all soon!
Keith

Cool! Debbie has to see Colorado! I will talk with her and see if she wants to make it. Buena Vista was awesome for Co-Zoo 1 so I am looking forward to it myself.

Thanks for inviting us non-zu drivers too!

Right now my RS is getting the headgasket, repaired with a Delta cam (thanks Matt). Should be done this week .... soon as it is out of the shop. My 4 door is coming apart to figure out the knock in front diff.

I will be there one truck or the other

Big thanks to Trailseekers group

I am a lazy copy and paster :P , but according to Aaron James count there were "~ 25 attendees, 12 vehicles. Small but great group."

"We ran Iron Chest, Grizzly lake, Old Chinamans, and Wheeler Lake. Some folks did some exploring, went up to St Elmo and some other misc. activities. We also participated in the second annual KOA Gulch Ice Cream Social/Redneck Challenge. "

For me Iron Chest and Grizzly lake were the hardest & most fun trails I have even driven

"Keith was the most stuck and his vehicle is still residing at the KOA (broken axleshaft, possibly fried tranny)."

I broke my right tie rod, swapped in a spare in record time trail And 5 minutes later fragged the front ring & pinion (yes again). Special thanks from me to Jeff the marmot for dragging my Trooper and hauling me and my mutts around Old Chinamans trail.

Dale aka mr mojo tore a sidewall and possibly did some body mount damage.

Steve G's body mounts tore through

And then there was Corbin.....

* Fan Clutch died on the tow rig
* Water pump replaced on the tow rig
* Intercooler line blew off eight to nine times on the tow rig, some fairly elaborate fixes
* Tore both rear tow hooks off Amigo
* Broken Warn alloy stub
* Broken Warn Premium hub
* Broken spindle
* Broken caliper
* Bent caliper mount
* Some brake damage

Thanks again to Aaron for dragging me over the harder parts of Old Chinamans trail after my front diff broke. And maybe Aaron won't complain about me copy and pasting him
