Howdy. Can't hurt to check with Matt at Independent4x, in Richmond...he might know of a donor vehicle.

Otherwise, I would contact Jerry Lemond in Georgia jlemond@bellsouth.net
He often parts out Isuzus.

alright...i got my new motor in and my wife has been driving the truck for a few weeks. here's the issues:

odb code for random/multicylinder misfire. if i clear the codes, it runs well...after a while it starts to accelerate inconsistantly and the code comes back...its like the throttle's not responsive...additionally, when the code comes back the transmission starts shifter really hard and acts like its slipping b/w 2nd and 3rd under heavy throttle...

thoughts?

also the sending unit in the fuel tank is bad...do i need a whole new pump (like the dealer says?) <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />

Have you checked the TPS?

when looking for a container to hold drained brake fluid, find a container that is different from the beverage you are currently consuming.

tps = throttle position sensor

this particular rodeo that James ownes has the "drive by wire" throttle set up on it.

the issues it has def seem to be electical in nature.....pretty frustrating.

No you don't need a whole new fuel pump to make your fuel gauge happy.

Here is a write up I did a while ago with part numbers and everything. You may need to get your computer reset for the thing to start working. Mine started working right away, but others have needed the reset.
