i have a 2006 wrangler se, that being said, it was not originally equiped with air. has anyone put air in their's and if so how much money am i lookin at spending and how hard is it?


new to jeeps, but love em already.

Jeeps don't need air conditioning. Just open the window.

Seriously, if you don't currentl have A/c, then you're used to not having it. So get an A/C compressor and mount it and convert it to an air compressor.

good call, although i'm not quite used to it, i've only had the jeep for 2 weeks.

Take the top off <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I'm from Illinois and drove a CJ7 around in a similar climate as yours for 6 years, no AC, and most of the summers no top either. You'll get used to it, and get a nice tan too <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

I dont know, I'm glad as hell the a/c came in this fully load '06 X I'm driving. When purchasing it, tried to have 'em remove it to lower the cost and thank God that didnt happen. I've only had to use it twice last summer, but it was so nice!
