Body Damage is Cool
My 97 T100 has all the stopping power of a... much lesser truck. It's fine for normal stops, but hard braking is just not acceptable.

So what sort of pads are you folks running?

I'm trying to decide if I should go with oem (which may or may not be what's on it now), or something like Hawk or Porterfields.

I've got Akebono Ceramic pads, from TireRack. The stopping power has always been acceptable for me, but that may be very subjective. No brake dust and no noise. Wearing fine with 65,000 miles on them.

Brembo rotors and hawk LTS pads here, I like them alot and really felt a difference vs OEM stuff. I hear the hawk heavy duty pads are even better, trade off is brake dust tho.
