Hi All,
I know this has all been covered before but I just wanted to clarify things.
Although my mechanical skills arn't bad I have zero knowledge of suspensions systems and how they relate to other things like tyres etc. I plan to fit the 70mm lift from Ironman to my long body sportage, I understand there are issues with the standard shocks not being suitable but if someone could explain what the issue is in idiot-talk that would be good <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />. I think that Adskia has got around this somehow....
What size tyres can I fit with this size of spring lift? For whatever size I can fit do I need to change the rims? If so which rims have you been using?
Are there any other problems to this?
What I really need is the dummies guide to lifting you Kia and bigger tyres.
(FWIW most of my off road driving is fairly tame, no rock hopping or anything, but I do need some more ground clearance and a more agressive tread)
Thanks
Andrew
