Hey TX4wl - you ever go wheelin out at 360? If not do you know of any decent places locally in DFW?

Drop me a pm if you ever want to go wheelin. My Jeep will be up and running in no time as long as I can get my clutch problem fixed.

I did some reseacrch and got 2 different sites saying that i'd need a slip-yolk eminator kit, new brake lines, and a new pitman arm (a stock ZJ arm supposidly works well on the YJ) and a track bar relocation bracket. Anyone who's done an SOA conversion wanna verify if that's true?

yes that is true...but just useing the pitman arm will work but its only a small fix you really need cross over steering to get back to normal

i used to go alot but as anyone has told you im sure.... its really not safe out there IMO and there is questionable legality issues as well...as far as local places wel not within an hour+ drive...get on some local boards like (lonestar jeep club) or (cowtown jeeps) they dont post alot about where they are going but do meet up alot and getting to know some of them they may have private places to go ...my jeeps have been down for some time so i havnt been out in a long time but all my buddies still go but they go far away ...my s/n is the same on all the local boards as well

yeah I hear ya about it not being safe. I always go out there on weekdays. The weekends (specifically Sunday) is way too crazy out there. Too many unsafe people doing unsafe things.

I agree with the pitman arm not being a good idea. If you will be going through the trouble of SOA, better to take the extra time and money to do it right the first time.
