I was wondering what the towing capacity of a '90 v6 trooper would be and that if she's up to the task of a 150-200 mile pull. I read somewhere on an old post that 2000 lbs max w/ 200 lbs tongue weight is the edge of safe. This seems kinda low to me. I don't have the owner's manual that came with the trooper, but I am sure that somebody out there does. Thanks! I pulled an 1800 pound pop up camper in the mountains of TN on my way to Uwharrie once. It honestly wasn't that bad. I did still have my 31s at the time <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> How much does this thing weigh? Might want to invest in some trailer brakes. Do you have a manual? That would work better IMO.
