Getting the Wheeling Fever
got my one piece driveshaft in and install, it's working great and with 1/2 the weight it seems to rev out a little quicker-

I hope that is installed. Why didn't you just go to Sacramento Driveline?

Shoot, up here they want $250 to balance a driveline, and that's with you doing the R&R. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

Body Damage is Cool
i agree. SB driveline is awesome. I'm having a little bit of vibe issues, myself. But i'm not sure if it's the DS, my rear diff (it's singing a song nowadays <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> ) or my pinion angles.

anyway.. good choice <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Cool, stick with what you know. I have had good luck with Driveline Service of Sacramento and AA Driveline in Rancho Cordova.

Did you drop the pinion down yet?, it should take either a 2-3* shim. 2-3* doesn't seem like much of a difference, but it is enough to cause premature wear/failure of the u-joints.

The 1pc d-line sits at a different angle than the original, so you have to rotate the pinion down to match the angle of the tranny flange. The shim goes between the spring and the perch, and run abot $12(when I purchased mine). Contact 4x4 labs here in GV, they may have the shims, if not Foothill 4x4 in Auburn should, I don't think Trucksmart will have them. Measure the amount you need, I used a 3* on my '90 x-cab, it has a 3" lift, so a stock rig may need less of a shim.
