My a/c clutch pulley is making noise while it is freewheeling... noise goes away when the clutch is engaged. Does this mean replacement of the whole clutch assy? or is this something that can be lubed? (87 4Runner 22re)

I would guess that the problem is with the bearing on the pulley. When the clutch is engaged, it changes where the pressure is applied to the bearing and the noise quiets down.
