My blower only works on high which indicates a failed blower resistor block. I purchased a new one and thought it would be a simple install. I can't find it and I have looked everywhere under the right side of the dash. Does anyone know where it is hidden.

might also be your fan control switch, heard of those going out also, but the resistor is located under the passenger dash in the black box... about a 5 minute install... you will need a 8mm nut driver or socket to remove the cover plate and the resistor

That's the problem. I can't seem to find the cover plate. Could it be different on an Unlimited? Can anyone post a picture or a link with pictures? I know I probably sound like an idiot but I really could not find it even after removing several parts and the right speaker assembly.

I can't ask for more than that. I'll check it out tomorrow and let you know how I made out. I don't feel like looking now since it's raining and I don't have a garage.

I found the location and decided it was in a lousy spot to make replacement easy. I took it to a nearby jeep dealer and had a tech install it on his lunch break for twenty bucks. It was money well spent because it took him a whole half hour to replace it.
