I need to know what to look for when buying a scout. What is really bad stuff that can
be disguised by bondo and such. And what about the mechanicals? any years prone to
more problems, better motors, etc...
I'm looking for all the info I can soak in... books, sites, etc

thanks!

Linky

I used to have a 64 when I was stationed in Michigan. The fuel tank was a hazardous NIGHTMARE. I don't know anything about the Scout II's.

Probably wouldn't hurt to check the bedlib link up in the Early Toyota FSM sticky, or www.alldata.com for TSB's for them.
