Maybe I'll go with Craftsman then. They have 24v (I think?). One thing I noticed with the Cman drills, is that they seemed a lot heavier than others...but I really need "dropped from the roof" durability, and that price is MUCH less painful. I like Craftsman drills cause they have the built in bubble levels. Had my 14.4v for at least 12 years and it still works fine.

I spent an hour today between Lowe's and Sears. I'm MORE confused about what to do now than I was originally. lol
I THINK I'm leaning toward the craftsman 19.2 drill, with 2 batteries and charger, for around 100 bucks. But then again, the Hitachi at Lowe's was BEAUTIFUL...looked like a laser pistol from Battle Star Galactica.

Hitachi's are Poop! We used some Hitachi tools at my old job, and they did not take any kind of abuse at all. And the batteries sucked.
As far as construction tools, Mikita is the absolute best, and the Dewalt. Craftsman makes good drills, but I would not get any of their non batt operated tools, but they do have great mechanics tools. You gotta love a lifetime warranty, with no questions asked.

Eh, the plan is to pickup the 19.2 Craftsman, with charger and 2 batts in the morning (actually whenever I get up today...might be afternoon by then ). I hate decisions like this. I'm really tempted to buy the whole damn set, and just charge myself a little bill. Or go hardcore and get the entire DeWalt set. I hate to incur debt at this point, but I can think of sooooo many fun things to do with those tools
