I installed my new engine with a new Centerforce clutch yesterday (I haven't fired it up yet) and noticed that I have excessive clutch pedal freeplay.

If I adjust the rod all of the way out (no threads in the clutch pedal clevis) the freeplay is just about right.

While looking in my 89 Toyota repair manual, I noticed that the clevis for the V6 looks longer than the clevis for the 22RE. Does anybody know if this is true and if it is, how much longer is it?

I would rather get a V6 clevis at the bone yard than tear apart my clutch master cylinder, buy a die, buy a long adjuster nut, cut and thread the adjuster rod, reasemble the master cylinder, and bleed the clutch system again.

Thanks for your help.
