Well I'm 1/2 way into my first TC replacement on my early 22r & need help. The harmonic balancer had been sleeved before and was grooved again. The new sleeve from engnbldr is not as deep by about 3/16" as the one that was in there before. The old one seated all the way to the back of the HB snout and had a lip. I put the new one on flush but when I put the HB back on I can't see if the sleeve is covering the seal surface or not. If this going to work or do I need to try and find a different sleeve. I'll be waiting under the Truck!

Thanks to anybody.

If it's EBs stuff I would think it should be good to go. Never heard of anyone having a problem with that when using his stuff. But, if I was uncomfortable, I would pull off the HB and measure from the cover face to the seal lip, then measure the HB sleeve length and maybe mark the sleeve with a marker and figure where you are.

4crawler or engnbldr out there? My harmonic balancer has 3 pulleys if that makes any difference. One parts place said they had a listing for a "long speedi-sleve" but he didn't have it.

Help anybody?

Thanks

yes .. as long as the sleve is covering the "groove" from the old seal on the HB .. you'll be good to go ..

just make sure you lube the seal lip , and the speedy sleeve , otherwise you could "tear" it on start up .
