Getting the Wheeling Fever
Wanted to have both the stock oil pressure sending unit (for a gauge, not a warning light) and the backup electrical installed in the 22r-e block. Tried with a t-connection but it didn't fit the narrow hole in the block (seems to be really small, also tried home three different sending units with the same thread that didn't bite). Read about a secondary outlet by the R engine mount bracket. Does that work and will a OEM sending unit fit in between there?

The sending unit on my '84 22R is just above the pan, between the motormount and the starter.

Rock Warrior
PAssenger side motor mount, behind the mount itself..
IT's the same size as the OEM hole.
It's BSP (british standard pipe). Very close to 1/8NPT.
