ok on my zj i broke the cv joint, i need the jeep to get to work. can i remove the cv shaft from the axle and still drive in 2X4? i know that the front diff is only engaged in 4X4 so it shouldnt be a problem but im unsure as to any other problems that could arise form this. im pretty sure i need to remove both shafts that way the diff wont spin, because all the fluid will leak out.
