I've got a 79 truck with the 20r. Will the automatic transmission from an 86 4runner with the 22r bolt right up to it, or does it not match?

It will bolt up, but there are bigger issues: integrating the tranny ECM into the wiring harness for one, and do you really want to put a power robbing auto behind a 20R ??
