Wow. When you buy real automotive paint from a real automotive paint store, dang. I felt like a huffer after putting the last coat of base color on last night, I was high as a kite.

I should have worn a mask or dug out the respirator. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Still looks like a rattle can paint job, but a little more work and it's ready for assembly Sunday. Woo Hoo!

Dang, it was hot today! I heard people in hell laughing at us in PHX today. 119 on my super dooper Micronta weather station, on my back patio in the shade. Phew.

It's on, took about three hours due to a ton of hidden fasteners. Paint job sucks, probably due to the heat lately, a little polish and close enough. Pics tomorrow, I'm spent.

I don't feel sorry for you. Haven't you had the bumper since last winter anyway?! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

Oh yeah, Mr. Freakin Comedian right here... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Nope, I've had it all of 5 weeks. The lead time from Schrockworks is HORRENDOUS! Last time I'll buy a product from them. All of the fasteners were Grade 5, not the right length, etc. One trip to Ace Hardware solved the problem, but this is not what I would expect for $900...

littlefilppyoffguy would work well here as well. You should come out again and spend a little more time. Wife wants to meet the infamous Dirty Harry.

I'm more interested in meeting the daughter. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I will probably be out there in November for some rockcrawling. Tracy Jordan supposedly has this impossible trail behind his house with something like 15 waterfalls on it. I will be walking with camera in hand and not driving, of course.

Looks super clean Mike, which is pretty much what I have come to expect from you. Are you going to put lights in the front bumper?

What suspension did you end up using? Old Man Emu?

I think that the stock rear bumper looks fine but you need to get some sliders on that thing. The truck looks great.

Yeah, probably PIAA driving lights. I'll have to run a new circuit or figure out how to use the OEM switch in the dash. No way the OEM wiring will handle driving lights, it struggled with the 50W OEM lamps. You could hear the fuse screaming when they were turned on...

Yup, I do like their suspension tuning.

That bumper is tin foil. I'm continuing to try and get in touch with the guy in Houston. I might be able to convince Bonney to build one for me. That should only cost five billion dollars and take three months. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

I'm designing custom sliders, that's the next addition.
