Getting the Wheeling Fever
Hey guys,
I have a 91 Paj and I'm tryign to figure out which brake pads to order for the front. I changed the back pads using the 92 Montero but there seems to be confusion with teh front pads. any suggestions (other than taking them off and measuring)?

If you have 2 piston calipers, the GenII should be the right pad. The GenI's came with 1 pots <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Pajerist,
I just moved and my reciepts are in a box 'somewhere' in my house. As soon as I find them i'll post the part numbers. I did get them from NAPA asking for 1992 Montero rear pads. what a breeze to replace. I'm hoping the fronts go just as smooth.

Body Damage is Cool
weird because my GEN II has single piston front brakes...they are HUGE though.

Looking up the part #'s on a slow, rainy day at NAPA <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
For 92 Montero, these are the Ceramix #'s.
Front NAPA # CMX7412
Rear NAPA # CMX7447
Hope that helps <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

OK, so I finally got front pads on the Paj --- so easy! And I thought Chevy disc brakes were easy to work on. One bolt and the caliper rotates up and out of the way! the NAPA part number that I used is AE7241M.

Interesting, that's the part number for the GenI (old body style)
