Need a Spot
Yep. Head gasket on my ~160k 22RE Blew out about a week ago. Was probably going to sell it when I go overseas in about six months.

Think its worth fixing now and selling a few months, or should I just get rid of it as is?

I'm posting this a week late because I needed time to mourn. :-(

Fix, Sell, or Tacos?
single choice

Depends on your current time and resources. Ain't that hard to do; may as well change the TC while you're in there.

If I'm buying a truck with a dead HG, I consider it a $1200-$1800 drop of the price..

A bad HG can mean water got in the oil.. may have been pumped around resulting in needing a complete new motor.

If you have the time and inclination to do it, the job will pay well.. :-)

If the bed is damaged, with a blown HG, you aren't likely to get more than a $3-400 for it as it is, and not much/if any more if you part it out. If the bed isn't a loss, you might get $800 as it is. However if you didn't drive it much after the HG went, you should be able to fix it yourself for around $300 with a new t-chain. This will increase the trucks value atleast another $1000-1500. If you have the tools/or access to them, you should be able to have it done in a day or two, i.e., start Friday after work and you should be driving it on Sunday, providing the only thing wrong is the HG. If it overheated on you you should have the head ckecked.
