Absolutely. Exhaust leaks in turbo motors are especially bad, because that exhaust is used to spin the turbo. A crack is like another wastegate, only one that can't be closed. Even though the CT20 is a low boost setup, a cracked exhaust manifold will affect how quickly the turbo can spool up. As anyone with an old Ford flathead is well aware of. If you're crack doesn't leak, it won't hurt performance. If it does leak, it tends to take away high rpm & high pressure performance.
