Getting the Wheeling Fever
will a crack in the exhaust manifold cause loss of power from the turbo? i had my exhaust manifold off the other day and i noticed it had about a 2 inch long crack in it. you cant hear the exhaust from it but it is still cracked.

Absolutely. Exhaust leaks in turbo motors are especially bad, because that exhaust is used to spin the turbo. A crack is like another wastegate, only one that can't be closed. Even though the CT20 is a low boost setup, a cracked exhaust manifold will affect how quickly the turbo can spool up.

Now that you're aware of it, I'd suggest getting it repaired or replaced as soon as you can.

Not all cracks leak. As anyone with an old Ford flathead is well aware of. If you're crack doesn't leak, it won't hurt performance. If it does leak, it tends to take away high rpm & high pressure performance.
