Getting the Wheeling Fever
my 88 toyota pickup idles perfect but when i give it gas it revs up no more than 2500 rpms and then back to idle over and over when peddle is to the floor. any suggestions on what to check?

What engine?

For problems with "throttle" on an EFI engine, think "throttle position sensor":

At least it is a good place to chart checking.
