Found this on Craigslist:

Stock Toyota Tacoma TRD suspension including rear leaf springs, and front coilovers with shocks 8K miles for $100.00

Seeing as I want to lift my Taco a little/increase the load capacity so she doesn't sag(as much) when I load her down with tools, and supplies, this caught my eye..And I need shocks too..reeeeallly bad LOL

Any thoughts? Eh? Eh? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" />

I always thought the TRD suspension was a bit stiffer. I know the ride height is the exact same, but I was under the understanding that it had greater load capacity. And, by the way, the Tokicos are the TRD equivalent for the 4-door model, not the stock model. The stock models have every day cheapy oil shocks.
I'd say that $100 is a damned good deal for TRD suspension with low miles. The new shocks alone would be worth at least $60 a pop.

To my knowledge, there is no height difference. The major difference is in the better shocks, and the fact the coils are progressive. As for load, it'll be the same as the overall weight limit should be similar.

For the price, that would be a killer deal. Again, that's assuming you're replacing your older stock suspension coils and shocks. If you're looking for a lift, you'll need to look elsewhere.

02 Tacoma Double Cab TRD Prerunner .. just added 3" lift .. more to come
