Getting the Wheeling Fever
I noticed today that the third leaf down on the passanger rear of my 94 4x4 is broken. Is this uncommen? Where can I get a replacement? And do I have to replace the whole spring pack or can I just change out the broken leaf. No clue how long it's been this way.

My cousins 88' did that too.
You can use a junkyard leaf, or jcwhitney sells stock replacements.

Anyone here tried them? I'm considering them for a cheap & easy sag fix.

I've seen a few folks on YotaTech use them. Supposed to work fairly well.

Check with a local spring shop if you have one, or are close to an area that does. One spring shouldn't be to much if you do the work. Or as mentioned grab a set from a wrecking yard, shouldn't be more than about $30/set.

Why not look into a chevy spring swap?

I ran jcwhittney springs for about 1.5yrs. Flexed about how a stock spring would, rode nice. I had no complaints

Dealer wants $120 for just the single leaf or $550 for the spring pack. JC Whitney want $130 for each spring pack. Im may give JCW a try, but I'm going to check the Pic N Pulls first. What year springs will match the 94's?

I broke the third leaf in an A-P pack once. Took a stock pack apart and took one of the leafs that was longer then the broken one. Lined up the center bolt hole on both and marked the longer leaf to the length of the broken leaf. Cut the excess off and put the A-P pack together. I thought it might lean a bit when I put it back on. It worked great, no lean, flexed great.

I think the rear springs on the 90-95 are the same.
