I went wheelin a few times and got screwed on some hills. Just Boggin out at the top. I want to know if a weber, Holly, ect will do good on the hill climbs? anyone know of a good carb? Dont really want to do the EFI swap if i have to. 84 22r.

Wouldn't matter what carb you toss on there; gravity happens. You'll want to consider an electric fuel pump to install. I think Scerb is wearing one on his rig.

The stock carb really is the best offroad, however I have a Weber, just because I could basically. A float bowl overflow extension and fuel pressure regulator are probably the best things you can do. Theres some info on this in my carb faq (links in my signature). An electric fuel pump will do the same thing as the regulator (and no, kewlynx I don't have an electric pump).

The carb is still gonna stall when you go perfectly sideways, cause well, I flopped last night and it stalled <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" /> (more info on this in a new thread once I get pics <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />).

One of the best things to do is set the float level lower than spec.
I did that when I rebuilt mine any don't have any problems at steep angles.
Flopped over on the side, that's a different story.
