Previous Thread Next Thread Print Thread Rate Thread automatic transmission hose size 89 trooper. #830912 08/15/07 07:50 AM Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 19 S subieracer OP Need a Spot ok, so i got a new radiator for my 89 trooper automatic and other than being a giant pain in the ass it went fairly smooth until i went to hook up the auto tranny cooler hoses. the fittings on my replacement radiator were larger than the ones on my stock unit so the hose wouldnt fit. so what size is the stock hose so i can get the next size up. also it looks like its time to change my fluid, as the mud colored juice that came from the hoses was nasty! thanks.. -ben.t Re: automatic transmission hose size 89 trooper. That'll also help you get the right length. [Re: Oyaji_Jon] #830914 08/16/07 07:28 AM Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 19 S subieracer OP Need a Spot nm, got a larger size, which sucks cause its bigger on the oem side and fits snug on the aftermarket side.. but i got the radiator in and after driving it around town for an hr or so, the temp gauge never went past the 1/2 point...
