My money is on it needing a good greasing. There are a bunch of zerks under the front end. Brandon can testify to how loud/much my front was squeaking when I hit bumps, and a good greasing silenced it completely. Otherwise, it could be a number of different frond end parts that are worn. I'll let someone qualified suggest further info.

Mine is well-lubed and still has a creaking at full lock on uneven surfaces. Still haven't figured it out. But nothing is broken or severely worn, so I live with it. That said, greasing the front end would be a good place to start

Ok, that makes sense. Thanks Charlie. Is there any lubrication or hacking needed on those?

Upper ball joints on t-bar cranked rigs makes that noise too. At least, that's what I've been told (by Ray, who isn't a mechanic ).

Body Damage is Cool
There is a turn stop that slides up and down when at full crank and you hit a bump. This has a hard plastic piece that wears out easily. So when at full crank you get this horrendous sweak!!!. I periodically squirt a gob and black silicone adhesive on the bolt and slide point which helps alievate this.
