Getting the Wheeling Fever

I have a buddy of mine that is getting an 81 jeep wagoneer for a deer lease truck. It is fulltime 4x4 with a 360 in it. Is there anything he needs to look out for on this model and he is also wanting to do a lift on it and was askin me what kind. I was tellin him to do either a shackle or suspension lift. He is wanting to put 33's on it and I dont know if a 2inch shackle lift will allow for 33's without any fender trimming. What would you guys recommend?
