Gents,

Any recommendations on where to by OME suspension products? I checked their website and in my area they list Les Schwab Tire as the closest dealer (they are a west coast tire chain). Not sure if they will know what I'm talking about. Curious if anyone ordered off the net, etc.

Also, has anyone had experience with their shocks? Not sure if they are worth looking at or not.

And lastly, they list 2" and 2.5" rear springs for my '89 Runner. The 2.5" springs are listed as a stiffer rate spring. The 2" springs are listed as stock rate. Anyone have experience with the 2.5" springs? Too stiff for a first gen runner?

Thanks in advance,

Mike

Need a Spot
I bought my rear OME springs and shocks from 4 wheel parts warehouse. They had the best price if you order from their internet site and pick up from the store, they're in Oakland and Sacremento. You have to pay tax but no shipping. The gas was much less than the shipping from the non local internet sites. Call the internet order number, they quoted me a much better price than when I called the store directly.
Check out their free mag, off road adventures, available on the website. The price is right.

A word of caution,
Know your part numbers before you order. Also, I have a 93 toyota extra Cab. The lower spring shackel bolt was 14mm, upper was 18. The spring bushing is 18. ARB doesn't
include a bushing for this size shackel in the bushing kit. I ended up drilling out the shackel to 18 and replacing the bolt.
Got a greasable bolt from Downey.
The truck never road so smooth.

Good info,

Thanks for the post, Oakland is not that far of a drive from Santa Rosa.

I have the application guide from ARB's website, will pay attention to the part numbers when I call for pricing.

Did you receive any resolution from ARB on the shackle bolt problem, or, did you just deal with it yourself and write it up to model year differences?

Thanks again,

Mike
