Is there any way to adjust the throttle cable on the 4.0's? Mine seems to have a lot of slop in it and it makes the truck very "jerky" in 1st or reverse at light pedal- even worse if I am in 4-low. The Haynes does not mention adjusting it in the r/r procedure....

As I remember it the adjustment is at the throttle body.. I think you have to get there and start figguring it out.. It is easy after some consideration.
