Need a Spot
I am taking the Sportage to the lake this weekend and need to put my pontoon in with it. (24 ft pontoon with 115hp outboard) Has anybody had experience with this? I have a 04 Dodge Ram as a daily driver and obviously have no trouble with it, even in 2wd it doesn't spin. But I am wanting to drive the Sportage this weekend so I can check the fuel mileage and really just wanting to drive the thing since I haven't drove it much yet. I only have to pull the pontoon about 1 mile from my shop to the boat launch so that is not a concern. I really think it will pull it out of the water fine in 4wd but just wondering if anybody has experience with one. The boat ramp is concrete and isn't just real steep. Thanks!

In 4x4 Lo range you should be able to poull the boat out, I had to tow one of our company pickups about 20 miles recently, put the sportage in low range with the hubs unlocked and it had no problem pulling the pickup.

I am about to head out of town. I will let you know how the pontoon pull turns out.
