Well i posted about whats probably my valve stem seals. now i need to post about a howl in my SR front end. it sounds like it coming from my transmission . its not all the time but when it does it.its like its not wanting to come out of a lower gear. if you can understand what i mean? i am not sure how to explain it. it will go away and be just fine after while and it does not do it all the time. like its stuck in a lower gear then finally it goes up into the higher gear. transmission might need serviced ? don't know when it was done last. i will if needed try to explain this better just not feeling well right now. thanks

95 SR stock but i hope not for long....

AH! Open the hood and remove the Wolf that's stuck under there.

Sometimes a differential that is on it's way out will howl. How sure are you that it's coming from the tranny? Noises can be really hard to place correctly from inside a vehicle. If you're sure it's the tranny (not a wolf ) then try a tranny flush and hope for a cheap fix. That is if you haven't flushed it in a while. How does the tranny fluid look?

You sure it's a howl and not a wistle? Also does it only sound like it's stuck in low or is the trans not shifting?

i have not driven it in a while but i got a doctor appointment to day and its about 45 minutes away so i plan on taking it and listen to it better. on thing that might be it was my 10 year old son the other day was playing with the switch that picks normal power and hold. i mess with it and made sure it was in normal again. the switch was kind of like stuck in between options when i messed with and i got it back into normal mode. will report back later. thanks

seemed to have done the trick with the switch. no more noise no nothing. sounds great must have been stuck on hold or something seems fine now.
