also; i should add:
abotu 3 months ago, the Oil pressure sensor died, gauge read 0; so i replaced the sensor; worked perfect;
then: i changed the oil & filter ,a nd ever since then, ive seent eh gauge reading higher oil pressure than normal
also; on theese jeeps??? are tehy liek my camaro? it has a "diagnostic center" that i cna put a paper clip into the A & B terminals,a nd get the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT to FLASH a number of times to tell me what codee is going on..
- do these jeep wranglers have this? is so? where is the "diagnostic center" (like wherre a computer code reader would plug in) and which ones are the A and B terminals?
and where can I find a list of jeep codes to troubleshoot. cuz my check engine light goes on after about 2 mins of the engine running.

idk how to find the check engine like on ur 95 except a chrysler obdI scanner, when you find out the code punch it in on a google search and a website should come up with the code, when you did the oil change did you put thicker oil in?

ok, i stopped by my mechanic today:
he told me that he has had to troubleshoot this issue before during his career...
sometimes an oil filter is defective; and does not flow oil as well as it should, therefore restricting oil flow, therefore increasing the pressure...
remedy; replace the oil filter
---now i hope it is as simple of a fix as this, or else it has to be some type of blockage someplace... eeek
-no i did not use heavier oil. i always buy cases of 12 quarts, and the filter from the same NAPA. so everyhtign should be the same, however, it was jsut bad luck to get a defective oil filter.. I HOPE
i will try to swap out the filter for a new one tomorrow or the next day, and if it is the remedy; i will post it here for anyone to know for the future
thanks guys

orange? are you talking about a fram one? we've had a few bad experiences with their filters that they make for the L6 GM motors that are in some fork lifts, they have cracks in them and we've called fram and theyve sent us our money back, its happened like 5 times but now that my brothers an amsoil distributor everything has amsoil filters

Never installed one on a forklift...but have used lots and lots of them on common vehicle engines...all with expected results. Big JIm <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/pfft.gif" alt="" />
