Been prepping my truck for paint this week and I am going to remove the rain gutter trim. Here.

I assume that the trim is just glued and crimped on correct?
Anyone wish they didn't remove it ? i.e. rust problems?
thanks
Jed

Mine was just some sort of chormed plastic that was pressed or glued in place. It is long gone and I just painted over it:

Roll Me Over
yank it off. Will take all of 3 seconds and another 30 to clean up any left over "goo."

Body Damage is Cool
it has a "butyl" type stuff holding it on .. in 5 spots I believe ..

if you pull the bottoms out with your thumbs , very carefully , you might be able to save it .. every single one I have done , is always sun fadded and brittle .
