Getting the Wheeling Fever
Howdy all. I just picked up a new stereo to replace the stocker. I don't expect to be able to use the stock 6-disc changer, but other than that, are there any surprises? Does a standard, run-of-the-mill deck fit the hoel or is there need for adaptation? Any other issues? Power antena hook-up is "the usual", etc....
Thanks for the help. Brett

Single DIN fits perfect, or double DIN if you have the right faceplate. Power antenna is the blue wire. The standard mitsu 2 piece wiring harness fits this app, as it does every other mits I've ever had. Heh... I had my stereo wired up in March, and the truck didn't arrive till August... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

If you're going to have an empty DIN hole in the dash, you can usu find parcel boxes at the junkyard that'll bolt in place of the empty hole, or you can get the cobra CB that fits a DIN mount perfectly, if you have a need for CB.

Body Damage is Cool
Like Phil says, any aftermarket deck will bolt right in. This was the easiest stereo install I've ever done. Less than 10 minutes total.

The harness is available everywhere, Wal Mart, Princess Auto, and stereo shops.
