Need a Spot
The hood latches on my original '79 CJ7 were a kind of silver paint of some type. I now am restoring to stock a 1980 CJ7 and am looking for latches with that same finish. I have only seen chrome and black in the online stores
1. Does anyone know where I can get OEM or NOS latches that are the silver paint color?
2. If not, do you have specs on the exact paint color and I'll restore my rusted latches.

Thanks

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Datadog, I get mostly all my parts from Morris 4x4 Center in South Florida. http://www.jeep4x4center.com A check of their site only shows the black or stainless ones. Give them a call, they won't steer you wrong. Good Luck on your quest! - Mike

A thought here, as I recall, this silvery color is about the same found on rims of the era. AMClives.com has a "Dull Aluminum" rim paint. It may be pretty close to what you are wanting. They also have some links to AMC clubs which may lead to the answer you want as to paint color. Hope it helps ya
