I am new here and have been reading the posts. There is a lot of good information here , but I am haveing a weired electrical problem. The problem is not all the time. The problem is that the radio , interior dash lamps and A/C does not work. UNLESS and this does not all ways make the above systems work. Sometimes when I turn on the head lamps the radio/AC AND dash lamps will work. This morning I found that that windshield wipers can be added to the list of inoperatable items unless the lights are on. I checked the fuses with a test lamp and found all but one ok ( #3 or #5 port) I replaced the fuse but the problem is still there. the only other thing I did was to pull the radio and A/C fan switch. Radio looks ok . But the fan switch connector looks like it may have gotten hot and started to melt. Not bad though ,no wires touching. I do have power at this connecter at differenc levels.
ANY HELP PLEASE.. is there a known common problem like a ground or head lamp switch problem.........1995 jeep cherokee sport <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
