Need a Spot
I thought I broke the EGR Pipe but I got a replacement in the mail today and it wasnt the right part. so I took a pic, notice the break in the pipe by the manifold.

the truck is a 1989 2.6l auto.

Looks like the EGR pipe to me.

What's different in the part you got?

The EGR pipe is obviously broken where it attaches to the exhaust manifold.

Did you not get the entire pipe assy in what you ordered? It comes as a 'unit', including the non-removeable fittings which fasten the pipe to the intake and exhaust manifolds.
