Well OP, assuming you have an EFI engine, you need an EFI pump. Any pump that puts out a static fuel pressure of >40 psi will do. What's wrong with using the stock pump? Unless you're adding a turbo or supercharger, it will work fine for just about any common mods. If you want to look at an aftermarket pump, check out Walbro. Their high performance pumps come in various sizes and are affordable . -Jeff

Some have used an in-line pump from a Celica, do not know what year they are on. But they pick them up at P-N-P wrecking yards.
Get a spray can of carb cleaner, disconnect lines at both ends, and shoot it in until it comes out the other end. Let it sit for a while then blow it out with air. Repeat. You should do it on all the lines, main, return, C.C. vent line, and anything else that carries gas. There may be a few things that need to be replaced like the fuel pressure regulator, pulsation regulator. . As far as the injectors, send them out and have them cleaned and balanced.

No you cannot. It runs $16 per for clean and balance, so there is no reason to NOT send them out.

I don't know the 3.0L. You just need an inline pump.. I believe the guys on pirate recommend a pump (Ford) from one of the E-series vans. Bosche, Kinsler, lots of options...
