I am due to replace my timing belt on my 1996 3.4L V6 Tacoma. Since the Tensioner Compressor is fairly expensive and I'll probably only use it once, has anyone in the Albuquerque area purchased the tool? Anyone made the crank pulley tool Mark Griese refers to in his "Timing belt replacement guide"? If so please PM me maybe we can work out a deal so I can save some mula and you can recoupe some.
Thanks for you time! Regards Ron

I did mine about 3,000 miles ago and found I didn't need it. If you move the A/C compressor out of the way you can use the tensioner mounting bolts to draw the tensioner back in place. My front pulley slid right of without any puller, holding the crank while loosening the pulley bolt is a whole nother problem
