are you planning on running 38" tires?!! i see you have 3" body lift, so for a total 5 1/2" of lift. i have more than enough lift for my 35's. what's your plan??

The set is not a 2 1/2" lift. I researched the part #'s before I bought a set. It's Ironmans standard set with I think their better shocks. The lift is more like 1 1/2". So far I am happy with it on road, but haven't had the time to off road it yet (kids, work, surf, ...the i.r.s.).

The kit is easy to install, if you are mechanically inclined. The only hard part was figuring out which front torsion bar was which. They are marked DS & NS. One phone call to down under set me straight. DS is the right side (the aussie's driver side) and NS is the left side (the aussie's near side to the curb).

You also have to check your front torsion bar length. The kit was right for my '94 sr. I can check the length of my old bars & post it for you later.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Do you have any pics of your Monty? I like the upgrades you have made, and they seem like a perfect blend for on/off-road. I would like to make the same to mine (1998 fullsize) so I would like to see any pics you are willing to share.

Thanks a lot!

Seems like a decent package for the money. Did you need to trim your bump stops?

Ya, you can't beat the price & it was free shipping!

You don't need to trim the bump stops, but it is next on my list.
