My son and I took our 8 foot popup up to canoe camps for some rustic camping on the river, the wife said she would pass this time. She's not really into no restrooms and bathing in the river thing. We had a blast, went up with about five groups of people and enjoyed a relaxing long weekend over Labor Day. Went to a bunch of garage sales and picked up a set of chevy heavy-duty tow hooks for 2 bucks and a two tube brush gaurd with two KC lites and covers for twenty bucks. Got lost one nite for about an hour till we finally reconized where we were, even taught the nine year old to drive the jeep out on the two-tracks! Filled up at the high way entrance and filled up at our exit 102 miles and put in 5.3 gallons of gas. Ran up with just the bikini top and a tarp, but it was rain-free all weekend. Took the Jeep everywhere, and it ran great. Figured if I broke down closer to home I would call the wife to come get us withn the truck and trailer and if we were half way I would call my mechanic buddy that went up on thursday to beat the trafic! What a great "Jeep" weekend
